By utilizing the extensive research and data collected through previous EcoFab research and allowing it to interact with 3D models necessary for the manufacturing process via software like Grasshopper, EcoFab has the potential to streamline and rapidly expedite the process from project ideation to completion. Hover over each step below to learn more about each step of the process.
As a first step, basic information needs to be gathered about you and your project. These will be utilized by us and our system to rapidly go from "hello, nice to meet you" to "here are your keys, welcome home."
Once your information is gathered it will be utilized by a collection of software that will run through climate data as well as our continually expanding archive of house variations. The system will then provide a number of options that could fit your application.
After some thinking, our system will bring out the options that seem to fit what you may be interested in for you to see. These houses can be chosen as either "off the shelf" options or simply starting points from which to work with an EcoFab designer to develop a more custom solution.
Once a selection is made, more software kicks into action. Our software cocktail will then take your selection and rapidly turn it into a CNC and production ready 3D computer model.
You're done! Our system has now run through it's paces and with the help of modern prefab processes your house will be delivered and complete in no time.
